loopdaloop — a beat maker for iPhone that grooves in one tap

BIF-0006

loopdaloop is a beat maker for iPhone by BIFF.ai. Tap a pad and a beat, a bass line or a pad starts playing, on the beat, in key, already swinging. Hold an orb and you take control. There is no manual because there is no wrong move: it is already grooving, and you decide how far to take it.

Out now: loopdaloop is free on the App Store since 10 October 2026. Read the launch post.

Why loopdaloop?

  • It grooves in one tap. Every sound arrives on the beat, in key and already swinging. Fill, drop, flip, half-time, double-time: one tap each. Mash buttons, get an arrangement.
  • Control when you want it. Hold an orb and a halo of moves fans out: busier, calmer, swap, octave, tone, faders, edit. Draw the beat, shape the sound, paint the chords, mix the kit live.
  • No wrong moves. Nothing you do can be out of time or out of key, and every move can be undone back to the start of the session.
  • Made on the phone. Every sound is synthesized in the app, not sampled, with 17 drum styles that know which bass and hooks belong to them.
  • Yours, offline, free. No account, no samples to download, no subscription. Songs and scenes stay on your phone.

How does loopdaloop play?

  1. Tap a pad. A kit, a bass, a lead, a pad or a texture lands on the deck and plays at once, on the beat and in key. Keep tapping and you have a track.
  2. Hold an orb. Its halo of moves opens: busier, calmer, half-time, double-time, flip, swap, octave, duplicate, tone, faders, edit, banish. Drag an orb sideways to bend its filter, up to throw its echo; drop one orb on another and they melt into a new instrument.
  3. Shape it by hand. Draw the beat on a 16-step grid that stays in key, shape the sound on a four-band EQ drawn as one curve, mix the kit on a fader per hit, paint one chord per bar and let the bass, lead and pads follow.
  4. Keep it. Capture the deck as a scene, tap scenes in any order, keep songs. Every new song rolls a fresh tempo, key, mood and groove.
